20150725_165824The impact of volunteering goes far beyond helping the children they work with in Thailand. When volunteers return to the UK the stories they share about what they have seen and experienced has the ability to ripple through their networks and inspire their family and friends  to make a difference .

Well it certainly did for the Holman Family, when their son Oliver volunteered at CCD with Leeds RAG team two years ago . The stories he told on his return really touched his parents, Julie and Laurence Holman, who have been staunch supporters of 4Life and CCD ever since.

Last year they raise money hosting one of 4 Life’s Big Ten Tea Party. This year they kindly asked family and friends who attended their silver wedding anniversary celebration to  donate their gift to 4 Life and one other charity.  Khun Wasan was presented with a cheque for £400 at the Thai Meal in London this summer.
